Daughters. Can’t live with ’em, can’t live without ’em.

I grew up in a house full of women. My mom, my older sister, and my younger sister. My dad was there too but he worked a lot, and we actually home schooled for quite a while, so I spent the majority of my time in a house just surrounded by girls. Sometimes it was great. Sometimes it was…um…loud.

Funny how loving relationships can get like that.

If you’ve got a daughter, you’ll definitely be able to appreciate the love/hate of it all. Maybe not hate. Let’s call it the love/…different love of it all.

10. The first rule

I am Jack’s total lack of surprise.

9. Attitude reflection

Aw, she takes after me after all.

8. Two sides of the coin

Good to have a strong personality.

7. Karma time

Don’t tell her I said this but this is my sister all over.

6. Personal time

Hahaha good one ok but seriously get out of my room.

5. Strength to carry on

Fight the battle, it’s all worthwhile.

4. The pen is blue

When you’re definitely just about to snap but you love them so much.

3. Winter wonderland

I’ve never seen Chuck Palahniuk’s name in such a sweet looking context.

2. Screaming match

Cool, now neither of us can talk.

1. Mirror, mirror

This is the meme that keeps on giving.

If you have a daughter, reach out to her today. If you are a daughter, reach out to your mom. She’ll appreciate it. Promise.
