My mom is a teacher and the stories she’s told about trying to navigate that job in 2020 have made me very glad I did not follow in the footsteps of the family profession.
Still, I can’t help but admire all the teachers AND students out there on Zoom and what not just trying to make it work, trying to keep the education train chugging through thick and thin.
And I’m especially grateful to everyone who took all the funniest moments from these endeavors and shared them with us on the internet.
Like these ones!
15. My time to shine
Thanks for the shout out, I guess?
14. A pregnant pause
Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth, professor.
13. All four you
You’re doing the lord’s work.
12. A swift reply
Who doesn’t quote the great academics?
11. Feel the rush
I feel like everyone in that group had a lot of questions right away.
10. On the run
2020 just keeps getting more and more surreal.

9. Top of the class
I’ll never understand this. What are you paying for?
Never record a test that you wouldn’t feel comfortable with other people hearing.
7. I’m a huge fan
Nobody in that class is getting anything done.
6. Are you chicken?
I think 90% of school now is just kids showing each other their pets.
5. Mr. Montey
He is the bringer of good news.
4. Quizzical expressions
I see great things for your future.
I joined my zoom class today and wondered why there was only ten people and my professor said “you don’t need to be on here while you’re taking the quiz” and I yelled “A QUIZ WHAT” and I wasn’t muted 🌚🌚🌚

This is great and I wanna use it all the time now.
A student signed their email “pandemically.” Glad to see they are coping with some email salutation humor.

Here’s hoping that somehow, somewhere in the midst of all that, we’re still actually learning things.
