I’m not exaggerating when I say that I’m constantly in awe of the grace and tenacity with which the women in my life endure constant harassing nonsense. I used to be sort of blissfully unaware of it, but now I can see it everywhere.
It saddens me to know how many strategies and tricks women need to share and keep in mind just to make their way through the world generally unharmed, but I am nonetheless grateful to those who help advocate for those strategies and do what they can to strengthen the overall well-being of folks just trying to live.
